Xytel Corporation and Kvaerner PowerGas Announce a "Winning Combination"
Xytel Corporation has been awarded a contract for
the supply of a polypropylene pilot plant to a confidential Chinese
client. This project will incorporate Xytel’s proprietary gas
phase reactor technology. For this project, Xytel’s strategy
"once again" was to carry out detailed engineering along
with support to basic engineering by KVAERNER POWERGAS INDIA. With
three projects executed in similar fashion which involved stationing
KPGI engineers at Xytel for basic engineering support and subsequently
carrying out detailed engineering in Mumbai, KPGI has now been asked
to execute their services entirely from their Mumbai office. This
pilot plant will be built in modules to enable prefabrication &
easy shipment to site. Special care has to be taken while designing
these structures for stability during shipment and final assembly
plus the added responsibility that the eventual assembled compact
units give a well laid out look. The internet and e-mail shall be
utilized heavily to efficiently transfer data & documents around
the world. Using the India vs USA time difference to our advantage,
work will proceed around the clock.
